This piece operates on a high-stakes transition from the vesicular, matte density of volcanic stone to the crystalline transparency of raw quartz. The spherical gold closure acts as a singular, polished anchor for the dark, textured volume of the strand.

The Stature
The necklace is engineered for vertical alignment. When worn, the weight of the quartz elements pulls the strand into a sharp, architectural curve that interacts with the clavicle. It provides a stark, factual contrast against the high necklines of architectural black silk, reinforcing a focused and discerning presence.
