A study in Aesthetic Weight. This necklace is an architectural assembly of raw, organic forms, bridging the gap between the earth's lithology and the slick precision of the 1970s Modernist silhouette.
The Composition
The piece utilizes a rhythmic alternating sequence of Natural Botswana Agate olivary columns and Gold Rutilated Quartz slices. The agate provides a factual, grounded foundation with its focused, monochromatic banding, while the rutilated quartz adds a high-stakes translucency, revealing the internal "creative struggle" of the stone itself.
The Form
Primary Elements: 25mm Botswana Agate columns, chosen for their sharp, architectural presence.
Structural Accents: Organic-cut rutilated quartz discs, providing a vertical counterpoint to the horizontal flow of the strand.
The Closure: A fluted gold plated spherical clasp, acting as a singular, polished anchor for the raw materials.
The inhabitant does not just wear the piece, she completes its architectural intent.
